Born in Tamilnadu, India, drawing was a passion for me from my schooldays. I completed a course in drawing from a reputed school in Chennai through correspondence course. Started my career as a lecturer in English in Tamil Nadu and then moved on to Delhi after joining the Ministry of Defence.

My wife's diplomatic career enabled me to visit different lands, I was deeply impressed by the Dutch school of painting, I took to painting in the year 1997 in Holland where I joined the Art School in Koorhouse, in The Hague. After completing the basic art course where I had fun learning all the media, I shifted to watercolours and learn't the medium for a year.

Since then I have been painting, as we moved on, in different countries. Starting with Holland, my paintings show landscapes of Zambia and Ukraine and now Great Britain! Exhibited in Lusaka (2002) ,Kiev (2005) London (April, June 2009) The freshness and immediacy of watercolours, their translucency and vibrancy always attracted me, Though difficult to master, watercolour kindles my passion and throws a challenge every time I approach the paper with paint.
