My lifetime enjoyment of drawing painting and taking photographs became a bit more focused after my retirement. One of the reasons I had to get started again was the way the Oxford I grew up in was gradually being eroded by the developers and so I painted some of the buildings that had vanished, based on Victorian and Edwardian black and White photographs.

I am mainly self taught and have exhibited locally in a couple of the local hospitals with some good results. For me sketching on holiday is a must as nothing captures the moment more than a drawing or painting if you have time.
