Born In South Yorkshire and Joined the Merchant Navy when I was 17. After spending 13 years at sea, travelling around the world and becoming a Master Mariner, I became a Pilot on the River Humber. During February of 2010 I had a severe back problem which stopped me working for a couple of months. It was during this time that my Wife bought me a painting set. Needless to say I was hooked on watercolours and have since improved my brush sets and, hopefully, my painting style. I prefer to paint landscapes and architecture but have sold a painting of a prize pigeon and a Brown trout! I hope you like the paintings...
